Church (Anglican)
One of the largest medieval churches in Wales. The tower dates from the fourteenth or fifteenth century and the spire from the late fifteenth century. St Mary's was greatly enlarged in the fifteenth century under Rector John Smith 1461-75. Victorian restorations in 1855-63 by David Brandon (Perpendicular windows) and in 1884 by J.P. Seddon. 1960s improvements by A.D.R. Caroe.
