Powys Evans (1899-1981)

Caricaturist for 'Quiz' during the 1920s, examples of which are in the National Portrait Gallery, London. The artist lived on Anglesey during the Second World War, working on a small-holding. Subsequently he lived near Bala and moved to Dolgellau before he died.
