1884 Three-light window. Christ ascending in the central light, flanked by angels, with disciples (including Mary) below.technique: stained glass firm/studio: probably Michael and Arthur O'Connor Church of St John the Baptist, Dowlais, Merthyr Tydfil (liturgical) east wall of the chancel Given in memory of the wife of Dr Cresswell. The window looks like the work of O'Connor, albeit of a decade or two earlier than the presumed date of the window. |
