Glantawe Studios (established around 1980)

Stained glass studio run by Tim Lewis. The studio was set up in Morriston in about 1982, as the physical size of commissions outgrew the space to make stained glass at home. Most windows made by the studio were designed by Tim Lewis, Colwyn Morris and John Edwards, as well as later designs by Bryan Tobias Evans. Numerous students studying stained glass in Swansea gained experience working at the studio from the 1980s. Their initials are often found with the signatures on the windows.
